The self-catering “Pelmo” apartament offers a comfortable holiday accommodation in a peaceful place close to Borca di Cadore downtown, but away from the noise of crowds and traffic. Recently built, the flat reflects the traditional atmosphere of the Dolomites: its wooden furniture give you the feeling of a warm and cosy home. From its balcony you’ll enjoy the romantic sunsets on Monte Marcora, Pelmo, Antelao. The apartament is located at a height of 1000m & from it you can reach Venice in just 1 hour and a half by car! The well-known holiday resort Cortina D’Ampezzo is far only 15 min. But no need to move your car, just walking out of the door you can choose between different nice mountain paths: visiting the 'Venezia' haven, the 'Ciauta' Hut or the Borca waterfalls or just cycling along the old railway line. Or you can walk through the woods looking for mushrooms!
Our family lives close by to the flat & can assist you to organize some excursions or give you good tips for where to go to taste typical Italian food (if you don't prefer to cook by yourself in the flat well-equipped kitchen). Moreover in Cortina there are always artistic expositions & many art galleries.This just to give you a clue,we're waiting for you.

My family visited Borca di Cadore this summer and I could not recommend it highly enough. The accommodation was superb with a well equipped kitchen, one double bedroom and a twin room for the children, the apartment had 3 balconies in total and was in a really quiet area.
Nica was an excellent hostess providing us with any information we needed and printing out the local weather reports for us each day. She even invited us out for the day for a walk into the mountains with her family, you couldn't ask for a better hostess. The local facilities were excellent and we found an amazing local restaurant which we visited several times and had the best seafood pasta dishes we've ever tasted. The people were extremely friendly and at the bottom of the road was the "Happy Park" where we often spent the evening enjoying a beer whilst watching the children play in a safe, clean and modern park just a stroll from the apartment.
There is a great deal to do here with many bike hire places, the area has excellent cycle tracks, very little of which are on the roads. The walking is also good although the children seemed more interested in chasing grass hoppers & butterflies. Highly recommended destination, we have lots of fond memories.

Just open your eyes in the morning and you have the mountains view in your bedroom.
I wish we had more time to spend in this beautiful place. A perfect location and wonderful hospitality of Nica (the owner) make staying here a great vacation place for a family.
Perfectly equipped, just step in and feel at home. Spacious, full of light and highly convenient. Add to this the human touch. Highly recommended. and thank you Nica.

The appartment is good and well equipped. The host, Nica is very kind and helpful. She gave the information about hikes, restaurants and how to take the day trip to Venice, train timetables etc. Some day we even got fresh vegetables from Nica's garden, which is in the backyard.
