Welcome to the Hotel Roma, San Vito di Cadore, prince of these mountains: and it is like staying in one of the hotels in Cortina, queen of the Dolomites.
In a few minutes you can stroll through the streetsof Cortina d'Ampezzo, a showcase of worldliness, custom and culture at high altitude (only 10 k). Not far from San Vito are: Pieve di Cadore, birthplace of Titian , one of the most renowned painters of the Renaissance, whose house you can visit; the incomparable Lago di Misurina within whose waters are reflected the Three Peaks of Lavaredo; } the Eyeglasses Museum at Tai di Cadore; the murales of Cibiana di Cadore and the Cloud Museum of Monte Rite founded by the mountain climber Reinold Messner.
Framed by fir trees, the Hotel Roma is characterized by modern architecture with a touch of Alpine tradition. Its splendid natural terrace, facing the hotel, offers a breathtaking view of the valley dominated by some of the most beautiful peaks of the Dolomites : from the Tofane to the Rocchette, from the Sorapis, to the Pelmo and the Antelao, king of the Dolomites.
The warm and welcoming furnishing of the common spaces are the result of experience within a long tradition of craftsmanship which has turned woodworking into an art; a tradition which even includes Grandpa Bernardo, who shaped the Bar's furnishings with his own hands. Inside the Hotel, including rooms and bathrooms, smoking is prohibited. The Hotel Roma offers its guests an ample sitting room, reading room and TV lounge. Pets are not allowed.
